Exam pattern: The written paper will include the following-

• General English
• General Knowledge
• Elementary Mathematics

Each paper is of 100 marks.

Cut Off Marks: 33% for each subject and 45% aggregate

NOTE: There is no negative marking

General English: The questions will be based on topics of basics of English. The questions will be of kind- Spot the Error, Synonyms, Antonyms, Cloze Passage, Comprehension Passage, Spellings, Idioms & Phrases, One word substitution, Fill in the Blanks, Active/Passive, Direct/Indirect narration, Shuffling of Sentences

Elementary Mathematics: In this section, the questions will be asked from the topics of Mathematics. The section is the really important section and is scoring because the questions can be solved just based on concepts. Practicing such a part at the best level will prove fruitful for the candidates and they can score good.

The topics from this section includes- Number Systems (Computation of whole Number, Decimals, Fractions, HCF & LCM), Discount, Mixture and Allegation, Time and Distance, Time and Work, Geometry, Mensuration, Trigonometry, Simple and Compound Interest, Profit and Loss, Statistical Charts, Use of Tables and Graphs, Bar-diagram, Pie Chart, probability, permutation & combination, Percentages, Ration and proportion, Averages

General Knowledge: The questions will be asked to test the knowledge of the candidate in the fields such as surroundings, current events and of such matters of everyday observation and experience in their scientific aspect, History, Economic issues, General policy, Culture, Geography and scientific research related questions. The basics of the above need to be known atleast.
