Bank of India recruitment for officers in General Banking Stream is being done through an online written exam followed by personal interview. The candidates can appoint themselves as-
- Junior Management Grade Scale – I (JMGS I)
- Middle Management Grade Scale –II (MMGS II)
- Middle Management Grade Scale- III (MMGS III)
The candidates who all apply for the exam need to prepare for the exam as per the criteria set by the Bank of India. The candidates can check the exam pattern from below table.
Bank of India Officers Exam pattern:

NOTE: For each wrong answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted in the exam.
For all the candidates who have cleared the written exam and have attained the minimum cut off score will be called for personal interview.
Bank of India Officers Syllabus:
English: The questions will be from comprehension passages, vocabulary section (meanings, antonyms, synonyms) and grammar section- noun, verb, adjective, adverb, idioms, proverbs, narration, speech etc.
General Awareness: The questions will be asked from current events, important dates of national & international events, sports, culture, history, geography, political science etc. topics in respect to India. More questions will be asked from banking sector and its latest news.
Financial Management: The questions will be asked from banking sector finance- managing balance sheet, risk, treasury, discounts, forex business, international banking, direct & indirect notations etc.
