Bank of India Specialist Officers recruitment exam is being conducted for the Information Technology Scale III, IV, V respectively. The BOI Specialist Officers Exam Pattern & Syllabus details are provided below as per which the preparation of exam can be done. So, a total of 200 questions will be asked in exam and the total time allotted will be 120 minutes or 2 hours. The question paper will be bilingual except for English section which will be purely English.
NOTE: For every wrong answer, 0.25 marks are deducted as penalty.
After the written exam, group discussion round and Interview round of 100 marks will be conducted. In these, the General category candidates have to score 40% and SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD need to score 35%.
BOI SO Exam Syllabus: The section wise syllabus for Bank of India Specialist Officers exam is-
Reasoning- In this section, the questions are asked both from verbal and non verbal part. Focus on questions of type- missing pattern, odd man series, correct sequencing, table problems, fill in blanks, choose appropriate answer, pattern matching, 3D figures, direction based questions.
English- The questions are asked so as to judge the knowledge of candidate. The questions from verbs, adjectives, vocabulary, synonyms, antonyms, adverbs, pronouns, proverbs, idioms, spellings, phrases, passages are seen in question paper.
Quantitative Aptitude- Mathematical part is covered in this section which include the questions from the topics- Problems on numbers (HCF & LCM), Ratios & proportions, Time & Work, Time & Distance, Statistics, Speed, Problems on trains, probability, permutation & combination, Graphs & tables, boats & streams, allegation & mixtures
Professional Front: As per the field named information technology, the questions are asked covering basics of IT so that the basics are clear of the candidate. Just be prepared with some basic questions related to IT which should be known atleast for getting job into the same sector.
