Haryana SSC Police Constable Syllabus Details Full Selection Criteria 2017

Haryana Staff Selection Commission in short known as HSSC has given the recruitment information for the post of Constable & Sub-Inspector for Male & Female candidates. Most of the aspirants start their preparation as soon the recruitment notification is out as we are sharing the syllabus which you can follow in order to succeed in examination. Haryana police Constable & Sub Inspector Syllabus given below as per which the preparations for the exam can be done.

  1. Physical Screening Test (PST)
  2. Written test
  3. Scrutiny of Documents (Documentation)
  4. Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
  5. Interview-cum-Personality Test (I-PT)

Physical Screening test (15 marks)

The candidates need to qualify this round with best of time as the marks will be awarded based on best of time. The marks distribution is-

HSSC Police Constable Exam Syllabus 2017

The details for each topics are-

Agriculture: Facts of Agriculture, Types of Crops, Fruits & Vegetables, Fertilizing, Irrigation, Weeds, Horticulture, Plantation, Deforestation, Crop Production

General Science: Under this section, the topics will be asked from basic topics like- History, geography, social, economic, political issues, important dates & events.

Animal Husbandry: Nutrition, Animal breeds, Livestock farming, Dairy, diseases, symptoms.

Reasoning: Verbal & non-verbal questions will be asked in exam- odd man series, similarities & differences, relationship, arithmetical computation, problem solving, Venn diagrams, relationships, Analogies, missing pattern

Numerical Ability: Number system, algebra, trigonometry, statistics, probability, permutation & combination, simple & compound interest, whole number, fractions, decimals, time & distance, time & work, problem on trains, discount, mensuration etc.

Physical Measurement Test (PMT)

Every candidate who has extra height than standard will be awarded with extra score as per scale.

Interview/ Personality Test (10 marks)

The criteria of marks distribution are-

  • Studies (2 Marks): Graduation: 1 mark, Post Graduation: 2 marks
  • NCC Certificate (3 marks)
  • Interview (3 marks)
