History of Scouting/Guiding, How scouting is useful in producing better citizens, law and promises, organization district/ state level, Aims and Methods of Scouting, Community development programmes, jamboree on air, organization at national level, progressive training of scouts/ guides, national training centres, Proficiency badges, Uprastrapati and Competition Prime minister Shield Competition, Indian railway Jamboree, law and Promises
For posts in the pay scale- PB- 1 Rs.5200- 20200 + Grade Pay Rs.1800, the topics to be covered are-
Jamboree on air, national Jamboree, Progressive training of scout/ guides/ rovers/ rangers, Hiking, Flag Song, Knowledge of Books, Scouting for boys/ girls, Social Services at various occasions, Proficiency badges, National Anthem, handicrafts, Salute, Prayer
The applicants as they apply for the exam need to prepare the syllabus respectively so as to get through the exam and clear the selection procedure as is set by the officials.
