Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDA) recruitment of Assistant and Rajbhasha Assistant will be done through written exam for which the syllabus is given below. IRDA Assistant Syllabus & Exam pattern details can be attained and studied well for the exam.
IRDAI Assistant Exam Pattern: The question paper will be an objective paper for which 2 hours will be given and the subjects included will be-
Assistant Post- Each section contains 40 questions of 1 mark each
- English Language
- General Awareness
- Numerical Ability
- Computer Knowledge
For RajBhasha Assistant, the difference is for Professional knowledge questions instead of numerical ability.
NOTE: 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong question.
IRDAI Assistant Exam Syllabus:
General Awareness: The questions from basic of GK are asked in exam including- current affairs, important dates & events, social, political, geography, history etc. The questions from scientific research and observations are asked in exam.
General Reasoning: The questions will be asked from the topics from both verbal & non- verbal part which includes- coding and decoding, similarities & differences, statement conclusion, spatial visualization & orientation, observation, missing patterns, relationship concepts, judgment, basic concepts, discrimination, verbal and figure classification, number series, odd man series, syllogistic reasoning.
Numerical Ability: The numerical questions are asked in exam including- Number system, Simplification, LCM & HCF, Averages, Time & Work, Ratios, Area, Time & Speed, profit & Loss, Simple & Compound Interest, Problem On Ages , Graphs & Charts
English language: The basic understanding of English is tested in which the candidates will be asked questions from Grammar- Verb, nouns, preposition, adverb, idioms, Error Correction, tenses, sentences rearrangement. Also, questions will be asked from comprehension, vocabulary, synonyms and antonyms usage
Computer Knowledge: The questions will be asked from basics of computers- text formatting, tables, file transfer, browsing, E-mail etc. MS office tools should be known well and concepts of networking should be clear.
Professional Knowledge: The questions will be asked on the technical basics.
