Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) Forest Guard Competitive Examination-2014 or called JFGCE is the important competitive paper for which the syllabus and scheme is mentioned below. JFGCE  Exam Pattern: The exam scheme for both the exams are listed one by one-

For Preliminary Paper: Written exam of objective type comes in which there are 120 questions. Each question is of 3 marks in the exam and 1 mark is deducted for every wrong answer.

Total Time Duration: 2 Hours

Topic included in exam: General Studies, Reasoning, Computers

For Main Exam: There will be 3 composite papers. In this, 3 marks are awarded for every right answer in the exam and 1 mark is deducted for every wrong answer.

Total Time Duration: 2 Hours

Exam Topics: Local languages (80 questions), General Studies (120 questions), Hindi/ English/ Maths (120 questions)

JFGCE Exam Syllabus:The details for both exams are-

For Preliminary paper

General Studies: The questions will be asked from current events and affairs which are happening around in India & World, History, Indian languages, political affairs, capital, geography, economy, currency, sports. Important events & dates are asked in the exam.

Mental Ability: In Reasoning type exam section, verbal & non ability type questions are asked in the exam. The questions are asked from- Coding and De-coding, syllogistic reasoning, Venn Diagrams, Seating Arrangements, Problem Solving, Statement & Conclusion

Computers: The basics are asked in the exam. The questions are asked from MS Office, internet usage basically.

For Mains Paper

Local Languages: Questions based on the regional languages are asked in the exam. The comprehension skills in each language is being tested through basic questions.

Hindi, English, Maths: Basics are asked in exam from each section.

General Studies: Some questions are asked based on general science in the exam. These will include as mentioned in preliminary Exam Syllabus.
