KVS Exam Pattern for the Hindi Translator: For written exam, the questions will be asked from-
Part I: Language Proficiency Test (70 marks)- English & Hindi
Part II: GK & Computer knowledge (40 marks)
- Type of Exam: Multiple Choice questions
- Total no. of questions– 110
- Total marks – 110
- Total time – 2 hours
Skill Test (Descriptive 04 questions): Translation of Hindi to English and English to Hindi 100
There will be an Interview after the written exam of (90) marks.
KVS Exam Syllabus for Hindi translator: The written test will contain the questions from-
General English & Hindi: Verbs, nouns, adverbs, adjectives, idioms, proverbs, sentence comprehension, basic grammar skills and comprehension skills.
General Awareness: The questions will be asked from current events of national & international importance, scientific aspects, political, social, economic, historical, geographical issues of India. The important dates & events are often asked in the exam.
Computer Literacy: The questions will be asked from computer awareness which will include the various basics- MS Office (Word, Excel, Power point, Access), Internet, LAN & WAN, usage of various things.
Logical Reasoning: The questions will be based on verbal & non- verbal reasoning including missing patterns, odd man series, number series, pattern matching, coding & decoding etc.
Quantitative Aptitude: Number system, HCF & LCM, Problems on trains, Boats & Streams, Probability, Permutation & Combination, Mixtures & alligations, Averages, Bars, Charts< graphs
Study and practice the questions well for the exam.
