Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has given the recruitment notification for the post of Assistant Administrative Officer.   • There will be an online examination consists of 300 for both Generalist & Charted Accountant.
  • Time Duration is 02:00 Hours (120 minutes).
  • There will one fourth deduction from original marks for every wrong answer.

LIC AAO Exam Syllabus

Quantitative Aptitude: Date Interpretation, Number System, Simplification, Pictorial Graph, Pie Chart, Average, Percentage, Area, profit & Loss, Time & Speed, Simple & Compound Interest, Investment, HCF LCM, Time & Work, Problem On Ages , Bar Graph.

Reasoning: Reasoning, Venn Diagrams, Seating Arrangements, Arithmetic Reasoning, Arithmetical Number Series, Non-Verbal Series, Syllogistic Reasoning, Problem Solving Techniques, Number Series, Coding And De-Coding, , Statement & Conclusion Type Questions.

G.K. & Current Affairs: Questions will be asked from the current events going on in India like Sports, Medals, Economy Plans, General Science, Current Events, Banking, and General Knowledge. Mainly you have to focus on National & International news, important dates, Technology, Sports & Culture, Banking Sector and Current Science.

English Language: Prepare some of the question from topics like Synonyms, Sentence correction, Comprehension & Cloze Test, Antonyms, Sentence Error, Fill in the blanks.

Computer Knowledge: Remember short cut Tricks of MS Word, MS Excel & Computer Abbreviations, Basic of Computers, Computer Organization, Memory Orientation, Internet, Generations of computer, Input & Output Device, LAN, WAN, Modem, Computer Abbreviations, Modern day Technology.

NOTE: For Charted Accountant post you need to focus on the basic concepts of respective discipline of Accounting, Income Tax, and Entrepreneurship etc.

      Age- 21-30 years as on 1st December, 2015(candidates must have been born not earlier than 02/12/1985 and not later than 01/12/1994 both days inclusive only are eligible)

      Educational Requirement- Bachelor/Master’s Degree from a recognized Indian University/ Institution

      Application Fee-cum-Intimation Charges of Rs. 600/- plus Transaction Charges

    • Hi Sandeep,
      This means that the marks scored in English section will be counted in grand total. In the English section, minimum passing marks have to be scored.Only qualifying in this section is a necessity.
