Govt., Culture, Literature, Folk Literature, Music & Dance Tradition, Arts, Major Schedule Tribes, Archaeological Heritage, Environment, Planning, Energy Resources, Industries, Administrative Structure
  2. General Aptitude Test: Comprehension, Logical reasoning, analytical ability, Decision making, Basic Numeracy, charts, graphs, tables, data sufficiency, Interpersonal skill, communication skill, Hindi Language Comprehension Skills, problem solving, General Mental Ability

Geology: All the basics must be known for the exam, topics included are- Vertebrate Paleontology, Geodynamics & Geomorphology, Physical Mineralogy and Geochemistry, Igneous & Metamorphic Petrology, Optical Mineralogy and Crystallography,  Indian Stratigraphy, Indian Stratigraphy, Invertebrate Paleontology, Micropaleontology and Palaeobotany, Structural Geology,  Economic Geology, Hydrogeology, Photogeology and Remote Sensing, Applied Geology, Sedimetology & Sedimentary Petrology
