Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) written exam is conducted for the recruitment process of Additional Public prosecutor. The applicants who all wish to take this exam register for the same on the official website.
OPSC Additional Public prosecutor Exam Syllabus & pattern
Exam pattern- Written examination is conducted which includes 3 papers-
- Paper 1- General English
- Paper 2- Procedural Laws
- Paper 3- Criminal laws
- Paper 4- Miscellaneous laws
All papers will be objective type and each paper is allotted 2:30 Hours
After the written exam, Viva voce is conducted of 100 marks for all candidates

Paper 1- Translation of English to Odia language, Short essay, comprehension passages, vocabulary based questions
Paper 2- Code of Criminal Procedure 1973, Indian Evidence Act, Drafting, Pleading
Paper 3- Indian penal Code, Dowry Prohibition Act, SC/ ST, essential Commodities Act, odisha Forest Act, B & O Excise Act, NDPS Act
Paper 4- Code of Civil procedure 1806, Law of Torts, Indian Limitation Act, negotiable Instrument Act, Interpretation of Statutes, transfer of property act, Hindu law, Specific Relief Act
