Syllabus For Odisha SSC Traffic Constable Exam Pattern Written|Physical Test

OSSC (Odisha Staff Selection Commission) recruitment to the posts of Traffic Constable in OMVD under Commerce & Transport Department, Govt. of Odisha is being done through a Physical Test and Written exam. OSSC Traffic Constable Syllabus & Exam Pattern for exam is given below following which the candidates can prepare well for exam and can score much better. It is a competitive paper for which the study is really of great importance.

Exam pattern-

In Physical Test, there will be running round of 1.6 Kms for which men are allotted 6.30 minutes and women are given 8.30 minutes. Next round, Cycling 1.6 Kms will be there in which men are allotted 4.30 minutes and women are given 7 minutes.

For Physical Test, the men & women need to be of following standards-

NOTE: The candidates who qualify physical test will be eligible for written test.

Written Test is an objective type paper in which the questions have to be answered in 90 minutes which are of 85 marks

For rest of 15 marks, the class 12th level questions are asked.

Exam Syllabus- For written test,

Odia/ English language- The questions will be asked based from articles, verbs, nouns, prepositions, tenses, verbs, synonyms, antonyms, proverbs, phrases, statements & conclusions, unseen passages

Arithmetic- Number systems, decimals, fractions, operations, profit & loss, simple & compound interest, averages, discount, time & distance, time & work, mensuration, tables & graphs, ratios & proportions, percentages

General Knowledge- Based on current affairs of India & world, History, Geography, Political science issues, societal matters, important dates & events
