PUDA 2015 Syllabus For Engineers|Sr. Assistant|Clerk Exam Pattern

Punjab Urban Planning and Development Authority (PUDA) Sub Divisional Engineer (Civil, Electrical, Public Health), Junior Engineer (Civil, Electrical, Public Health), Senior Assistant (Accounts) & Clerk-cum-Data Entry Operator exam pattern and syllabus is being described below as per which the paper is set. PUDA Syllabus for all posts is mentioned below-

Exam Pattern: MCQs will be asked in the exam; the paper will contain 120 questions each of 1 mark.

Cut Off Marks: 48 marks

NOTE: Only written exam is the criteria of selection in exam.

For Junior Engineer & Sub-Divisional Engineer-

  • Quantitative Aptitude/ Reasoning:15 marks
  • Computer knowledge: 10 marks
  • Punjabi & English: 10 marks
  • Technical Aptitude: 60 marks
  • General Awareness: 25 marks

For Senior Assistant (A/Cs)-

  • Computer Knowledge: 20 marks
  • Accountancy of B.Com level: 30 marks
  • Mathematics of 10th level: 20 marks
  • Punjabi & English: 20 marks
  • General Awareness: 10 marks
  • Quantitative Aptitude/ Reasoning: 20marks

For Clerk-cum-Data Entry Operator-

  • Mathematical Ability (with Matriculate difficulty level): 25 marks
  • Quantitative Aptitude/ Reasoning: 25 marks
  • General Awareness: 25 marks
  • Language Proficiency (Punjabi and English): 20 marks
  • Computer Knowledge: 25 marks

PUDA Exam Syllabus: The following topics are part of each post in exam-

Quantitative Aptitude: It includes the questions from number system, LCM & HCF, Whole numbers, ratios & proportions, mixtures, boats & streams, simple & compound interest, probability, permutation & combination etc.

Reasoning: Both from verbal and non- verbal reasoning questions will be asked- Missing pattern, odd man series, analogies, similarities & differences, coding & decoding, statements & conclusions etc.

General Awareness: The basics from all fields should be known including the new events ongoing in World.

Language Related: The basic questions from the languages- English & Hindi are asked in the exam to know the basics of the candidate.

Computer Knowledge: The questions are asked from the basics of computer- MS Office, internet usage, basic commands etc.
