- Subjects Included: GK (15), Mental Ability (20), Arithmetic Mensuration (15), Accounts (10), English/ Punjabi (10), Computer knowledge (15), Agriculture (10), Punjab History & culture (5)
NOTE: One- fourth marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
Punjab Revenue Patwari Exam Syllabus: For each topic, the important topics are-
English/ Punjabi: From grammar section the basics will be asked, comprehension passages from which the questions will be asked. Also, from vocabulary section the questions will be asked from word meanings, antonyms, synonyms.
Computer: The questions will be asked from MS Office (Word, Powerpoint, Access, Excel), shortcuts of computer, internet access, some basics of networking.
Agriculture: Type of Lands, Type of Crops, Chain, Irrigation Methods, Areas of Land etc. basics will be asked.
Mental Ability: Both verbal & non- verbal questions will be asked in exam- Analogies, similarities & differences, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, arithmetic reasoning, verbal & figure classification, non-verbal series, coding & decoding, statement & conclusion, spatial visualization & orientation, problem solving, observation, relationships
General Knowledge (GK): The questions will be asked from current affairs of India & World, national & international events, important dates & events, awards, capital, currency, sports, books, scripts, railways, culture etc.
Arithmetic: The questions will be asked from quantitative aptitude section which includes- Number system, LCM & HCF, Simplification, Decimals, Fractions, Ratio & Proportions, Percentages, profit & loss, discount, simple & compound interest, time & work, time & distance, tables & graphs, problem on trains, probability, permutation & combination, some basics of accounts.
