Sahitya Akademi/Academy Award Winners of Assamese List

Sahitya Akademi Award is given to those outstanding who have their real contribution as the writers. The people of Assam who have worked for the Literature of Assam are the ones who receive this award. Assamese is the approved language by Sahitya Akademi and so award is given for it.

What Award constitutes: Rs.1 Lakh cash + plaque.
