State Bank of India (SBI) Specialist Officer (Developer, Project Manager & Assistant Manager (System)) written exam pattern & syllabus is mentioned below as per which the candidates need to study for the exam. SBI SO exam is conducted only so that each candidate can at least score upto cut off level in the paper.

SBI SO Exam Pattern: The merit list for written exam is made just based on qualifying marks in exam and not on score obtained. The details of exam are-

For Assistant Manager (System), the subjects involved are-

SBI SO Exam Syllabus:

Reasoning: Both verbal & Non- verbal reasoning questions are asked in exam- Analogies, similarities & differences, missing patterns, odd man series, decision making, discrimination, observation, relationships, arithmetic reasoning, verbal & figure classification, arithmetical number series, coding & decoding, statement & conclusion, problem solving, pattern matching etc.

Aptitude: Number Systems,  whole number, Decimals, Permutation & Combination, Fractions, Percentages, Ratio & Proportion, Averages, Simple & Compound interest, Profit & Loss, Probability, Discount, Time & Distance, Time & Work, boats & streams, Algebra, Graphs of Linear Equations, Geometry, Mensuration, Trigonometry, Boats & Streams, Binomial theorem, Problem on trains.

English Language: The questions will be asked from literature & grammar- Verb, noun, preposition, adverb, tenses, sentences rearrangement, fill in the blanks, comprehension passage, vocabulary, synonyms, antonyms usage will be asked in exam. The main aim is to check the language proficiency for each candidate.
