Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) recruitment of Specialists is being done through a written exam which has a designed exam pattern & syllabus as per which the candidates can prepare for the exam.
SIDBI Specialist Exam Pattern: For Assistant Manager (Premises,Catering & Hospitality, Merchant Banking) & Manager(Premises) & Assistant Manager (Economist) & Manager (Economist) :
The objective type paper will come in which the subjects asked will be and the questions will be 0.5 marks each
- Test of Reasoning (20 marks)
- English Language (15 marks)
- General Awareness (15 marks)
- Subject Knowledge (150 marks) (Each question of 3 marks)
The descriptive paper for economics will contain the 2 essay questions in English which are to be done in 45 minutes.
For Private Secretary,Grade ‘A’ & Assistant Manager (Security): The questions asked in the exam are-
- Test of Reasoning (50 marks)
- English Language (50 marks)
- Quantitative Aptitude (40 marks)
- General Awareness (40 marks)
- Computer Knowledge (20 questions)
SIDBI Exam Syllabus:
Quantitative Aptitude: Here, the mathematical questions will be asked- Number system, LCM & HCF, Average, Percentage, profit & Loss, Simple & Compound Interest, Time & Work, Time & Distance, Problem On Ages, Graphs & charts etc.
Reasoning Test: The verbal & non-verbal questions are asked from topics such as- similarities and differences, problem solving, decision making, observation, relationships, coding and decoding, statement conclusion, syllogistic reasoning, missing patterns, odd man series, basic classification etc.
Computer Knowledge: The basics of computer are tested which involve- MS Office (Word, Presentation, Access, Excel etc.), usage of internet and basics of networking.
English Language: The basics will be asked in exam which includes- grammar sections like nouns, Verbs, preposition, adverb, tenses, sentences rearrangement, fill in the blanks etc. Also, the questions based on comprehension passages and vocabulary (synonyms and antonyms)
Essay (Economics): The basics of candidate are tested by asking some basic questions on economics. The questions will be evaluates based on skills to compose the writing, express properly, grammatical correctness, new ideas
