The details of exam are-
- Topics Included: Paper 1 (General Studies & General Abilities)
- Paper 2 (Civil Engineering)
- Total Marks: 150 for each (1 mark question)
- Total Time: 2.30 Hours for each paper
TSPSC AE Exam Syllabus 2019
The topics included in the both papers are-
Paper-I
Current affairs of national & international events, general science, new inventions in science, geographical, history, political aspects of nation, telangana state issue administration, society, languages, heritage, arts, Logical Reasoning, Analytical Ability, some basic English questions for language proficiency
PAPER-II
Civil Engineering: The basics of Civil engineering will be asked in exam like- Engineering Mechanics and Strength of Materials, Hydraulics, Surveying, Construction Materials & Practice, Irrigation Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Design of Structures (RCC and Steel), Environmental Engineering. The concepts of several topics have to be cleared for the exam.
Mechanical Engineering: The basics of the mechanical engineering are asked like-Thermodynamics, Heat Engines, Automobile Engineering, Methods of manufacturing processes, Metrology, Statics, Dynamics, Strength of Materials, Engineering Materials, Hydraulics and Hydraulics Machinery, Hydraulics, Industrial Engineering
