The syllabus and exam pattern for above posts is mentioned below-
UKPSC Group ‘C’ Exam Pattern: The written exam will be objective type paper in which there will be 150 questions of 1 mark each.
Total Time Duration: 2 Hours
The subjects included in the exam paper are-
- General Studies (90 marks)
- General Intelligence Test (30 marks)
- General Hindi (30 marks)
UKPSC Group C Syllabus: The section wise syllabus of the exam paper will be-
General Studies: The questions will be asked from current events of India & World, important dates & events, History of India, Economy, Culture, Agriculture, Commerce, Trade, Population, Environment, Geography (World & India), Natural Resources, Education. Some questions will be asked in the reference to the Uttarakhand state. So, knowledge about its History, Geography, culture, festivals, education, agriculture should be gathered.
General Intelligence Test: The questions will be asked from both verbal & non- verbal types. These will include questions on round table problems, missing patterns, odd one outs, statements & conclusions, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning, analogies, space visualization, similarities & differences, problem solving, decision making
General Hindi: This section will test the skills of the candidate in the language. It is important to have proficiency in language. So, questions will be asked on विशेष्य एवं विशेषण (पांच शब्द), वाक्य एवं वर्तनी शुद्धि (पांच , वाक्य), तत्सम एवं तद्भव शब्द (पांच शब्द), विलोम (पांच शब्द), अनेक शब्दों के एक शब्द (पांच शब्द)
