UPCISB Seva Mandal Syllabus
The details of each section of exam are-
General Knowledge: The questions will be asked from History, Geography, Political science, socio economic issues, daily occurring events, important dates, railways, sports, art, culture etc. related questions.
Reasoning Ability: Verbal + Non- verbal reasoning questions which include- analogies, similarities & differences, decision making, visual memory, relationships, problem on tables, missing pattern, odd man series, statement & conclusion, coding & decoding, judgment, problem solving, classification of figures,
Mathematics: Number system, LCM & HCF, ratios & proportions, whole number, simple & compound interest, probability, profit & loss, averages, percentages, investment, time & work, time & distance, profit & loss, Problem on ages, bars & charts
General Hindi/ English: From Grammar (gender, noun, number, articles, idioms & proverbs, subject verb agreement, active/ passive, adjectives, adverbs, narration), from vocabulary- antonyms, synonyms, opposite words and word meanings will be asked. In case of Hindi Grammar the topics will be asked are- त्रुटि से संबंधित, अनेकार्थी शब्द, तत्सम एवं तद्भव, संधियां, लोकोक्तियां एवं मुहावरे, लिंग, वचन, वाक्याशों के लिये एक शब्द निर्माण, अलंकार, रस, समास, कारक, काल, वर्तनी. More questions will be asked from error spotting, detecting wrong words, comprehension passages
