Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL) exam for Office Assistant (Grade-3), Stenographer and Office Assistant (Accounts) will be conducted in which there will be several candidates. All the applicants should prepare the syllabus as defined below.

Part-1: Questions will be asked from CCC course of DOEACC but for Stenographer, questions are asked from ‘O’ level Diploma course of DOEACC.
General Hindi & English: From language section, the questions are asked from grammar section (narration, speech, noun, verb, adjective, pronouns, proverbs, idioms, subject verb agreement, shuffling of sentences), vocabulary section which includes word meanings, synonyms and antonyms & comprehension passages from which the questions are asked.
General Studies: The questions will be asked from current events of national & international importance, history, geography, political science, history, geography, culture, sports, religion, railways, important dates of events etc.
Arithmetic: The questions will be asked from quantitative aptitude sections- number system, LCM & HCF, simplification, Profit & Loss, Time & Distance, time & Work, Ratio and Proportion, Equation, Mixture and Allegation, Discount, Mensuration, trigonometry, problem on trains, simple & compound interest etc.
Reasoning: Verbal & non- verbal sections- Similarities & differences, statement conclusion, relationship concepts, problem solving, analysis, visual memory, observation, verbal and figure classification, arithmetical series, coding and decoding, judgment, decision making
Accountancy & General Book-keeping: Basic principles of accounting, Internet Banking, knowledge of Financial Rules, Partnership Accounts, double entry system, Bank Reconciliation Statement, E-Banking, Provision for Doubtful Debts, Outstanding and Prepaid, preparation of initial accounting books, Depreciation
