UPSSSC Stenographer Written Exam Pattern

  1. Steno written test will be of objective.
  2. Duration of the examination will be 01:30 hours (90 minutes).
  3. There will also be a typing test of qualifying nature after written test.

Hindi Insight & Writing Ability: Candidate will be judged on the basis of performance in the test of Hindi Language and comprehension & writing ability.

Test of General Intelligence: This section is to test the knowledge of the candidate & understand the situations. For this section you can prepare the general questions based on intelligence which covers Instructions, Similarities, Understanding and Explore, Consistent, Conclusions and Actions, Relationships.

Candidate should prepare & fully understand the questions on Analogies, Syllogistic Reasoning. similarities and differences, spatial visualization, statement conclusion, spatial orientation, problem solving, coding and decoding, analysis, judgement, non-verbal series, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, arithmetical number series, observation, verbal and figure classification, relationship concepts, arithmetic reasoning.

General Knowledge: It is the vastest field so you have to prepare a lot no one can predict exactly what questions will come in the examination. But generally questions will be formulated on the day to day activities which we generally do with a mix of basic science. Generally candidate must have a deep knowledge about India & its History, Economy Indian Polity, Geography, etc. Focus will be on Current national, Current Events, International events, banking.
