AAI Exam Syllabus: There is a common part of syllabus for all posts which includes-
General Knowledge: The knowledge of all fields, important dates & events, culture, society, history, geography, political science, sports etc.
General Intelligence: The verbal & non- verbal reasoning questions are asked in exam- missing patterns, odd man series, figure classification, arithmetic series, coding & decoding etc.
General Aptitude: Number system, Averages, Fractions, ratios & proportions, compound & simple interest, probability, permutation & combination, statistics etc.
English: The basic understanding of English, vocabulary, grammar is asked in the exam.
Deputy Company Secretary: Secretarial Practice, Contract Act, Company Law, Drafting, Corporate Governance
Deputy General Manager (Commercial): Indian Contract Act 1872, Various acts related questions are asked such as- Public Premises (Eviction of Unauthorized Occupants) Act 1971, Problem Identification and formulation, AAI Act 1994 (no.55 of 1994), Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996, Minimum Wages Act 1948, Payment of wages Act 1936, Business policy and strategic Management, Contract labour (Regulations and Abolition Act 1970) and many others
Deputy General Manager (Human Resource): There will be 2 papers- 1 being objective and other is descriptive. The objective paper will include the questions from subject knowledge and in descriptive paper the questions will be asked based on comprehension & Essay Writing
Deputy General Manager (Information Technology): All IT related topics have to be prepared for this post which include- Data Structures, Compiler Design, Digital Logic, Computer Organization & Architecture, Computer Networks, Web technologies, Operating System, DBMS, Software Engineering
Deputy General Manager (Fire Services): Applied Chemistry, Applied Mechanics, Strength of Materials, Fire Fighting Equipments, Structural Fires & Building Fire Safety, Rescue Equipment & Techniques
Deputy General Manager (Airport Operations): Basic knowledge, Terminal Design Concept and Passenger flow, Aesthetics, Airport as an operational System, Terminal Building, Terminal Building-Electrical Systems-Power Supply, Electrical installation & Air conditioning,
Manager (Fire Services): Physics related to Fire Engineering Science, Chemistry of combustion, Electricity & Fire risk, Design & Construction of Fire Engines, Explosive & radio Activity
Manager (Finance): Financial Accounting, Business Laws/Corporate Laws, Business Organization, Income Tax Law, Cost Accounting, Financial Management, Auditing
Manager (Human Resource): There are 2 papers- 1st paper is objective paper which will contain the subject Knowledge questions and in 2nd paper comprehension & Essay Writing questions are asked.
Manager (Information Technology): Digital logic, data structures, OS, Databases, Software Engineering
Manager (Technical): Applied Mechanics & Design, Fluid Mechanics & Thermal Sciences
Manager (Commercial): Part 1 & part 2 of exam will contain different questions
Manager (Economic Planning): Part 1 of exam will include statistics and Part 2 of exam will include economics
