The details of screening test are-

  • Exam Type: Objective
  • Exam Mode: Written
  • Subjects Included along with marks: Marathi (10), English (20), GK (10), General Intelligence (20), Arithmetic (20), Computer (10)
  • Total Time: 1 Hour
  • Followed by exam, is a typing test of 20 marks and Viva of 40 marks
  • Cut Off Criteria: 45 Marks
  • NOTE: Negative marking of 1/5 marks for every wrong answer.

Bombay High Court Clerk Syllabus 2019

The details of each section of exam are-

General Knowledge: Current events of national & international level, new developments across the country, important dates, capital, books, currency, authors, awards, culture, social, economic, political issues, sports etc.

General Intelligence: The questions will be asked from- Verbal + Non- verbal reasoning- Analogies, Similarities & Differences, Mis spelt words, missing pattern, odd man series, coding & decoding, observation, relationships, classification of various things, statements and conclusions

Computer: MS Office (Word, Access, Excel, Powerpoint), usage of internet, email access etc.

Arithmetic: Number system, Fractions, Simplification, Ratios & proportions, Boats & Streams, Time & Work, Time & Distance, Tables & Graphs, Problems on ages, probability, permutation & combination, investment, problems on trains

English/ Marathi: Vocabulary Section which includes word meaning, synonyms, antonyms, Grammar section- (speech, shuffling of sentences, Verb, Noun, adjective, idioms, phrases, narration), comprehension passages. The questions are very basic to test the knowledge of candidate in the respective language.
