Syllabus For Naval Dockyard Visakhapatnam Tradesman Exam Pattern

Naval Dockyard Visakhapatnam (NDV), Indian Navy Tradesman (Skilled) in various trades recruitment will be done through a written exam. The syllabus for written exam will help the candidates to prepare for the exam. There are 3 major subjects from which the candidates will be asked the questions. Indian Navy examination are based on pure basics and so the core knowledge has to be studied.

NDV Tradesman Exam Pattern: The details of the written exam are-

  • Exam type: MCQs
  • Total Questions: 100 (1 mark each)
  • Subjects Included: General Knowledge (20 marks), General English (20 marks), Technical Subject (60 marks)

NDV Tradesman Exam Syllabus: The topic details for each subject are-

General Knowledge: In this section, the questions are asked from current events of national & international events, important dates, social, economic, political, cultural events, technology, sports, arts, books, authors etc. are part of exam.

General English: Grammar (noun, verb, pronoun, voice, narration, idioms, proverbs, adjectives, adverbs, conjunctions, subject verb agreement), vocabulary section including meaning, synonyms, antonyms etc. The comprehension passages are asked in exam.

Technical Trade Subject: The questions are asked from technical subjects. The basics of the subject have to be prepared so that the candidates can atleast pass in the subject with the cut off score in exam.

All the subjects of the exam need to prepare well and the best books should be referred. Prepare in best possible way for the exam and the candidates will be able to stand up with the competition. There are several candidates who wish to join the Indian Navy. So, the competition will be high and the preparations have to be done accordingly.
