Indian Postal CG Circle Postman|MTS|Mailguard Syllabus & Exam Scheme

India Post Chhattisgarh Circle Multi-Tasking Staff, Postman and Mailguard posts recruitment is being done through an aptitude test for which the candidates need to prepare accordingly. The exam paper is highly important and the candidates need to make sure that they study and practice well for exam. Indian Post CG Syllabus & Exam Pattern details for all posts are given below, following each the better score can be obtained.

Indian Postal CG Circle Exam Pattern: Aptitude written objective type Test with details-

  • Total Marks: 100
  • Total Time: 2 Hours
  • Subject Included- General Knowledge (25 marks), Mathematics (25 marks), English (25 marks), regional Language (25 marks)

NOTE: There is NO negative marking in the exam.

CUT off Marks: For Unreserved it is 40% marks i.e. minimum 10 marks in each part and 40% in aggregate, for OBC it is 37% marks i.e. minimum 9 marks in each part and 37% in aggregate, For SC/ST it is 33% marks i.e. minimum 8 marks in each part and 33% in aggregate.

Indian Postal CG Circle Exam Syllabus: The details of each section of exam paper is-

Mathematics: The questions are asked based on topics- Decimals and fractions, Fundamental Arithmetical operations, Percentages, Ration and Proportion, Number systems, whole numbers, Profit and loss, Simple interest, Average , Use of tables and graphs, Mensuration, Discount, Partnership, Time & work, Time & distance

General knowledge: Questions are asked from the topics- Freedom struggle, Culture and Sports, Political, Economics, General science, Geography, Indian History. The questions are asked from current affairs of India & world along with the reasoning questions of class 10th standard.

Regional Language: In case of Hindi, the topics covered in exam paper are- Mishra o Sanyukta Vakya, Vakya rupantara, Swara Sandhi, Shabda Pada, Kriya Bheda, Rudhi o Lokabani, Ashuddha Vakyara Shuddharupa, Padhinathiba Gandyansha, Alankara, Samasa

English: This section will contain the questions so as to test the candidates’ knowledge in English language and the topics covered will be- Vocabulary, Articles, Prepositions, Conjunctions, Synonyms & Antonyms, Sentence structure, Proverbs, Phrases, question from a small unseen passage, Tenses, Verbs, Active & passive, Narration
