Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) Constable exam syllabus & pattern is being described below. Special India Reserve (Primitive Tribes) Battalion Competitive Examination (SIRBCE)-2019 is the actual name of exam and the selection criteria for the exam includes- Written Test, Physical Test, medical Examination. The details are given below for each exam-
JSSC Police Constable Written Exam Pattern:
- Exam Type: Objective
- Total Marks: 100
- Total Time: 2 Hours
- Subjects Included: Hindi (20), Social Studies (60) including Geography/ History/ Civics, General Science (20)
NOTE: 0.33 marks are deducted for each wrong answer
JSSC Police Constable Exam Syllabus: The details of topics are-
Hindi: The questions are asked from grammar section in exam which includes- verbs, nouns, gender, number, speech, narration, phrasal verbs, proverb, idioms etc. Also the questions are asked from vocabulary section and comprehension passages in exam.
Social Studies: It will include the basics from each section. From Geography- population, districts, capital, culture, monuments, climate etc. are asked in relation to both India & Jharkhand.
From History the questions will be asked from Historical places & person, freedom fighters, important dates & movements, origin of state etc. in respect to Jharkhand. In Civics section, the politics will be asked in the exam based on the state.
General Science: The very basics will be asked in exam relating to new inventions, scientific researches, modern technologies etc.
Under Physical Test, the questions will be asked from-
- Height- Males: 150 cms, Females: 140 cms
- Chest- Males: 75 cms
- Race of 1 Mile- Males: 7 minutes, Females- 12 minutes
- Long Jump for Males: 12 feet
- High Jump for Males: 3.5 feet
The candidates who will clear the exam will be eligible for the post of constable in Jharkhand state.
