Jammu & Kashmir Police department has released a notification for the recruitment of Sub Inspector (Armed/ Executive, Telecommunication Wing) for both males & females and there are more than 600 vacancies. So, applicants are applying for this exam in large number so that they can be selected into J&K Police forces. There will be several tests before the candidate is selected for this post. J&K Sub Inspector Exam Syllabus
General Knowledge: Current events, ongoing happenings in surroundings, social, economic, political issues, climatic change, demographics, poverty, development, basic numeracy etc. The questions are merely based on what is happening in world, the news about important events, their dates etc.
For Telecommunication Wing: Electrical Machines, communication system, satellite communication, optical fiber system, computer basic, digital electronics, materials & components etc. The questions will be asked from the core topics of the field.

The candidates who all qualify the written test will be called for viva voce round.
