CCPE Botany is one of the subject for which the examination is being conducted in the state. JKPSC conducts the Combined Competitive Preliminary Exam for the selection of the candidates into civil and administrative services in the state. The exam paper is made into 4 sets named as A, B, C, D. The candidates are given an answer sheet on which they have to mark the answers for the about 120 questions.

J&K PSC is the agency of the state which is responsible for the recruitments in the state. It was developed on 31st December, 1954 in the state. Before this agency, there was no recruitment holding body in state. The Civil services and Civil posts are being filled by conducting the examinations in the state in which different applicants sit and take the exam. The combined Competitive exam is the important exam and has 2 stages- Preliminary & main stage.
