Andhra Pradesh is situated on southeastern coast and is famous for Kohinoor in India. The colorless diamond is found in Guntur in Andhra Pradesh. In 2014, Telangana had been separated from the state to form a new state overall. For both states Andhra Pradesh and Telangana the capital remains the same i.e. Hyderabad.
There are total 13 districts in the state making it the 8th largest state of India. The rivers Krishna & Godavari flows in the state. Andhra Pradesh is rich in mineral resources and has large reserves of the same. The staple food of state is Rice which is used for cooking several dishes. Agriculture and livestock are the major portions of the state and is the most consumed occupation of the state.
Next major feature of state is the second largest port Visakhapatnam which handles large amount of cargo. There are several tourism attractions like Beaches, caves, national parks, valleys, several temples, hills etc. Kuchipudi is the most famous dance form of the state.
The most commonly spoken languages are Telugu language Tamil, Kannada, Odia. The people communicate in these languages very frequently. Hyderabad the capital city has several tourist places like Char minar, Golcanda Fort, Ramoji Film City etc.
