Irrigation: Irrigation scheduling, data of field channels, design of irrigation methods, irrigation efficiencies, water requirements of different crops, measurement of irrigation water, Soil water-plant relationship
Drainage: Drainage of flat & slopping lands depth, spacing of drains, aquifer with types, water resources development and management, water resources of India, farm development works, Surface drainage, design and layout of surface & sub surface drainage, well log, groundwater prospects
Farm Power and Machinery: Machinery for sowing & intercultural operations, power operated grains harvesting & threshing machinery, Farm tractors, field capacity and efficiency, Primary & secondary tillage machinery
Agricultural Processing: Size reduction material handling, use of Psychometric chart, rice & pulse milling, principles of drying & equipment’s, principles of food preservation, processing of milk, dairy equipment’s, mass & energy balance in food engineering
Renewable Energy Sources: Energy resources, biogas plant, improved biomass cook stoves, renewable energy sources in Rajasthan state, non- conventional energy sources (solar, thermal, solar photovoltaic, bio-energy resources)
