Sikkim PSC Statistical Inspector Exam Pattern: There will be a written test for the exam which will contain 2 papers in total. These will constitute-
Paper 1 will have General English, Elementary Mathematics, General Knowledge (200 marks for which 2 hours are given)
Paper 2 will have Mathematics/ Statistics/ Economics (100 marks for which 1 hour is given)
After the exam will be viva round of 40 marks.
Sikkim PSC Statistical Inspector Exam Syllabus: The syllabus details for each paper is mentioned below-
Paper-I:
General English: Basic topics of English including grammar, comprehension passages, vocabulary are asked in the exam.
General Knowledge: The questions will be asked from current affairs of national & international events, historical, political, social, economic issues of India & some important events & dates
Elementary Mathematics: The questions will be asked from class 10 level like- HCF & LCM, Number system, Algebra, Fractions, Simple & Compound interest, Time & Work, Time, speed, distance, probability, permutation & combination, clocks, areas, volumes.
Paper-II: This section will cover the questions from Mathematics/ Statistics/ Economics. So, study the basics of all the streams. It is good to be updated with the knowledge because in competitive exams the uniqueness decides your caliber. Be very keen to study more and more for the exam.
