Telangana State Power Generation Corporation Limited (TSGENCO) Assistant Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics) recruitment is being done through written exam which will include the topics. TSGENCO exam pattern & Syllabus for AE is mentioned below which can be checked and followed for the preparation of exam.

TSGENCO Exam Pattern: There are 2 parts of exam- Domain Related (80%) and general Awareness + Numerical Ability (20%). The total time duration for the exam is 120 minutes.

 Domain Related Questions will include the BASIC Questions of the related field. All the topics which are core part of stream have to studied for the exam.

Basics of Circuits, Mechanical Measurement, Signals, Systems & Communications, Control Systems, Process Control, Analog & Digital Electronics, Analytical, Optical, Telecommunication, switching system, networks, Measurement Systems, Transducers

For Electrical:

Control Systems, Measurements, Power Electronics & Drives, Power Systems, Switchgear protection, Power Plant Engineering, Electrical Circuits & Networks, Electrical Machines, Analog & Digital Electronics

For Civil:

Strength of materials, theory of structures, Reinforced Concrete, Steel structure, Geo-Technical Engineering and all other core topics of Civil

For Mechanical:

Fluid Mechanics & Machinery, Theory of Machines, Thermodynamics, Turbo Machines, Metal cutting, Strength of Materials, Production & operation management, Power Plant Engineering, machine tools, Foundry, Welding, Forging, Material science & metallurgy, Design of Machine elements, Heat Transfer

GK + Numerical Ability: The questions will be asked from current affairs of national and international importance, important dates, geographical , historical, social, political, economical issues of india and specifically for state Telangana. The questions are designed as to test the candidate’s ability for the outside world. From numerical ability section-

Number system, LCM & HCF, Ratios & proportions, boats & streams, time & Work, Time & Distance, probability, permutation & combination, statistics, averages, logical reasoning, verbal reasoning, missing pattern, odd man series, coding & decoding, pattern matching etc.

Some questions in exam can be related to English language and awareness of general things.
