The details of each section are-
Domain Syllabus: This will include the questions from the basics of each field. The core topics studied while doing engineering course are the part of exam and should be studied in great detail.
For Electrical: Utilization & Control Systems, Measurements, Analog & Digital Electronics, Power Electronics & Drives, Non-Conventional Energy, Electric Circuits, Electrical Machines, Power Systems, Switchgear Equipment and other basics also from the field.
For Civil: Steel structure, Fluid Mechanics, Strength of materials, Surveying, Reinforced Concrete, Soil Mechanics, Building Materials & Construction, Estimation, Costing & Construction Management
Another section of exam will include the questions from-
- Analytical & Numerical Ability: Number system, LCM & HCF, Fractions, Decimals, Problems on trains, boats & streams, time, distance and speed, probability, permutation & combination, interest, discount, profit & loss etc.
- General Awareness: The questions will be asked from general topics like- geography, history, political science, social issues, important dates & events, language, authors, books, culture etc. These questions will be asked from aspect of telangana also.
- English: The grammar section will be asked in exam- verbs, nouns, adjectives, adverbs, idioms, proverbs, one word substitution, vocabulary section (word meanings, synonyms, antonyms) etc.
- Computer Knowledge: The basics will be asked in exam like MS Word, internet usage, use of computers etc.
