United India Insurance Company Limited Assistant will be recruited through an open written exam which will have defined syllabus & exam pattern. UIIC is owned by the Government of India which holds this exam. UIIC Assistant Exam pattern & Syllabus is being described below as per which the exam preparations can be done for the exam.
UIIC Assistant Exam Syllabus 2019
English Language: The ability of candidate in vocabulary (meanings, antonyms, synonyms), verbs, nouns, adverbs, pronouns, adjectives, adverbs, idioms, proverbs, comprehension passages etc.
Quantitative Aptitude: Numerical questions from topics- Number System, Simplification, Quadratic Equations, Percentage, Averages, Time & Work, Simple & Compound Interest, Time & Speed, Area, profit & Loss, Investment, Problem On Ages, Graphs & charts
Reasoning: The questions will be asked from verbal & non- verbal type- Venn Diagrams, missing patterns, Number Series, Coding and de-coding, Statement & Conclusion, odd man series, arithmetic reasoning, Seating Arrangements, Decision Making, table questions, general sense questions
General Awareness: Questions will be asked from Current Events of India & World, Banking, General Science, political science, economy, social, history, geography, Major Financial News, Budget, Five Year Plans, Sports, Awards & honors, inventions, important events.
Computer Knowledge: The questions are asked from basic computer sense- text formatting, tables, print, save and likewise different things which are very basic. Usage of internet, surfing web, searching various things, download, E-mail etc. MS Office knowledge of every part, Network basics etc.
UIIC Assistant Exam Pattern 2019
The exam will be objective type paper which will be 2 Hours paper. The question paper will be set both in English & Hindi. The subjects included in exam will be-
- Numerical Ability
- Computer Knowledge
- English Language
- General Awareness
NOTE: 1. Each section will be of 40 marks and will contain 50 questions.
- The total marks obtained will be reduced to 35 marks and interview of 15 marks will be held.
