West Bengal SSC Cook & Baker Cum Confectioner Syllabus & Scheme Details

West Bengal Staff Selection Commission (WBSSC) written test for posts of Cook and Baker cum Confectioner (CB 14) is being conducted and for this many applicants apply. There is large competition for the exam and so everyone has to prepare well for the exam. WBSSC Cook and Baker cum confectioner exam pattern & syllabus is being provided below as per which the exam preparation schedule can be prepared.

WBSSC Exam Pattern: The written test will be conducted which will contain all multiple choice questions. The objective type paper will have 120 questions in total.

Total Time: 1:15 hours

Marking Scheme: Each question of 1 mark

WBSSC Syllabus for Cook and Baker cum confectioner: Written exam followed by Cooking test (20 marks) and interview (10 marks)

The questions will be from the topics ad followed by no. of questions-

  • Subjects of Diploma courses in the relevant field – 100
  • General Knowledge- 10
  • Arithmetic & Reasoning- 10

Exam Syllabus: The details of the exam are-

Reasoning : The questions will be asked from comprehensions and based questions, Venn Diagrams, Number Series, Coding and de-coding, Arithmetic Reasoning, non-verbal series, syllogistic reasoning, Seating Arrangements, Statement & Conclusions

General Knowledge: The questions will be asked from general affairs which will be based on both India & international events, important dates & events, social, economic, political issues of India and Government. The questions are also asked from Geography, History, Civics

Arithmetic Skills: The questions are from- Ratio & Proportion, Percentage, Average, Simplification, Decimals, Fractions, L.C.M.& H.C.F., Profit & Loss, Discount, Simple & Compound Interest, Mensuration, Time & Work, Time & Distance, Data Interpretation, Boats & Streams, Problems on Trains etc. All questions are based on mathematical skills

Study the topics properly for the exam and practice the questions of different types so as to attain flexibility in every type.
