BSPHCL JE & Asst Operator Exam Syllabus:

GK: The questions will be asked from current affairs, important dates & events, culture, sports, technology, books, authors, history, geography, science, railways, ongoing events in India etc.

Logical Reasoning: Both verbal & non- verbal reasoning are asked in exam- similarities & differences, missing pattern, odd man series, relationships, number series, analogies, coding & decoding, statement & conclusion, space visualization etc.

Hindi/ English: The questions will be asked from very basic sections- Grammar (noun, verb, adverb, adjective, phrasal verb, narration, speech, voice, gender, subject predicate, idioms), vocabulary section which includes antonyms, synonyms and word meanings. Also, comprehension passages will be asked in the exam from which the questions will be put up in exam.

Quantitative Aptitude: Number system, LCM & HCF, Whole numbers, boats & streams, problem on trains, probability, permutation & combination, time & work, time & speed, problem on ages, statistics, simple & compound interest etc.

Computer Knowledge: The questions will be asked from basics of computer- MS Office, use of Internet, email access, networking concepts etc.

JE Electrical/ Electronics Technical Subject: Electrical Circuits, Electrical & Electronics Measurements, Electronics  I & II, Computer Aided Eng. Drawing, Electrical Machines I, Transmission & Distribution, Power Electronics, Switchgear & Protection, Utilization of electrical energy & management,  Communication & Computer Networks, Electrical Power Generation, Embedded System (Elective), Industrial drives & Control, Utilization drives & control, Basic Management skills
