NICL-National Insurance AO Syllabus & Exam Pattern Details

National Insurance Company Limited Written exam for recruitment of Administrative Officer Specialist & generalist Posts exam is being conducted. NICL AO Exam Pattern: Written exam in online mode is being conducted for Generalist & Specialist posts which is of 200 marks.

Total Time Given: 2 Hours and for Descriptive it is 45 minutes

NOTE: There is negative marking in exam

NICL AO Generalist Exam Pattern:

Objective paper includes the questions from topics- Reasoning, English, general Awareness, quantitative aptitude (40 marks and each question is of 1 mark)

Descriptive Paper includes- English comprised of Essay & precise writing (40 marks and total of 3 questions)

NICL AO Specialist Exam Pattern:

Descriptive Paper includes- English comprised of Essay & precise writing (40 marks and total of 3 questions)

General Awareness: Current affairs of National & International news, Indian Current Events, Banking, important dates, Current Science& Technology, Sports & Culture

Computer Awareness: Basic of Computers, Input & Output Device, Shortcuts & Basic knowledge MS Office- MS word, MS Excel, MS power point, Internet, Computer Abbreviations, LAN, WAN, Modem

English: Based on the vocabulary, Synonyms, Antonyms, Sentence Error, Sentence correction, Comprehension & Cloze Test, fill in the blanks

Quantitative Aptitude: Number Systems, Simplification, Average, Time & Speed, Investment, Problem on Ages, Bar Graph, Pictorial Graph, Chart, Data Interpretation, Time & Work, Area, profit & Loss, Percentage, Simple & Compound Interest

Reasoning : The questions are asked based on Statement & Conclusion type questions, Venn Diagrams, Number Series, Problem Solving Techniques, arithmetic reasoning, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series, syllogistic reasoning, Seating Arrangements, Coding and de-coding
