RRB Clerk Exam Pattern: Written test will be conducted in which there will be 100 objective type questions.
Subjects Included: General Awareness, Arithmetic, General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Science
NOTE: 1/3 of marks will be deducted for each question
RRB Clerk Exam Syllabus: The topics which should be included as syllabus are-
General Intelligence & Reasoning: Verbal + Non- Verbal Reasoning from analogies, missing pattern, odd man series, judgment, decision making, discrimination, relationship concepts, coding and decoding, statement & conclusions, orientation, similarities & differences, visualization, problem solving, analysis
General Awareness: The questions will be asked from current events, important dates & events, social, political, economic issues of India & World level. The administrative structure & economy of India is asked in the exam. Other topics include- scientific inventions, awards, languages, books, currency, sports, states & capitals etc.
General Science: The basics of each part of science are asked in exam- Physics, Biology , Chemistry.
Arithmetic: Number system, whole system, LCM & HCF, Fractions, Decimals, Averages, Time & Work, Time & Distance, Problems on trains, Ratio & proportions, Discount, Simple & Compound Interest, Tables & graphs, Probability, Permutation & Combination
The best books has to be referred for the preparation of the exam. Prepare all the topics of exam and then practice the questions so that the RRB Exam can be cleared. Because of competition the applicants are large in amount. So, best has to be given in the exam after all the preparations.
