Syllabus For BARC Exam Stenographer & Security Officer Exam Scheme

BARC Stenographer & Security Officer Exam Syllabus & Pattern is being provided below as per which the candidates can prepare well for the exam. Syllabus for BARC Steno & Security Officer will tell you that how you should prepare for the exam. This will let all the applicants know how they make a schedule to study for the written exam and skill test.

BARC Stenographer Grade III & II: Exam Scheme & Syllabus for the post is mentioned below-

Exam Scheme: 75 marks paper will be seen for this post. The written paper will include-

  • Paper I (General English)
  • Paper II (General Knowledge & Elementary Arithmetic)

Followed by written exam is a skill test. The candidate who clears both written test & skill test will be called for interview round.

Skill Test will include the typing test on computer.

For Assistant Security Officer ‘A’:

Exam Scheme: 75 marks paper will be seen for the post which will include-

  • Comprehension
  • Report Writing
  • Mathematics
  • General Awareness

After this written test, Physical efficiency test is being conducted. All the candidates who all clarify the written paper & skill test will go into interview round.

Physical Efficiency test will include-

  • Run 1.6 kms in 6.30 minutes
  • 65 m Long Jump in 3 chances
  • Chin Ups (8-9 upto 30 years, 5 – 6 for 30 to 40 years)
  • Push Ups (16-17 upto 40-45 years, 12 – 13 for 45 + years)
  • Sit Ups (25-29 upto 30 years, 20 – 24 for 30 to 40 years, 15-19 upto 40-45 years, 10 – 14 for 45 + years)

Exam Syllabus: The details of topics are-

General English: The questions will be based on verbs, nouns, grammar, report writing, comprehension based questions

General Knowledge: The questions will be based on current affairs, events, dates of national and international affairs, economic, political, social and economic affairs of India. Study all the important events.
