Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB) Accountant, Sub-Auditor, Jr. Auditor and Account Cadre Service syllabus & exam pattern for exam is being described below. MPPEB Syllabus for Accountant is being described below as per the exam preparations can be done.
Exam Pattern: The written test (objective type) is a 100 marks paper for which 2 Hours are given. The paper I will contain the questions from-
- Reasoning Ability
- General Knowledge
- Hindi
- English
- Mathematics
- Science
- Computer Knowledge
Paper II will contain the questions from Commerce field and Business Management & Finance.
NOTE: There will be no negative marking in exam.
Exam Syllabus: For Paper I-
Reasoning Ability: Both verbal & non- verbal reasoning questions are asked in exam. Spatial visualization & orientation, problem solving, judgment, decision making, observation, relationships, arithmetic reasoning, verbal classification, non-verbal series, coding and decoding, statements & conclusion
General Knowledge: Questions are asked from current affairs, scientific aspects, History, Geography, Economic, political and social issues.
Hindi/English: From this section, very simple questions based on grammar related topics (verbs, nouns, adjectives, adverbs, pronouns, conjunctions, prepositions), Fill in the Blanks, Vocabulary, Idioms & Phrases, One word substitution, Active& Passive, Direct & Indirect narration, Comprehension Passage.
Math: Simplification, Averages, Percentage, Time & Work, Area, profit & Loss, Simple & Compound Interest, Time & Speed, Investment, HCF & LCM, Problem On Ages , Graphs & Charts
General Science: The questions will be asked from the simple basics of Physics, Chemistry & Biology. Read the topics in best way.
Computer Knowledge: MS-Office (MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-Power Point, MS Access and Usage of Internet Services
For Paper II, Commerce will include-
Accounting, Statistics, Business Management & Finance (Company Accounts, Cost & Management Accounts, Auditing, Income Tax, Statistics)
Marketing and Sales Management, Business Management & Finance (Modern Management, Scope & principles), Human Resources & Industrial Relations, Recruitment, selection, induction and training systems, Business Finance, Financial Institutions & Indian Capital market
